Heading a First Bank high-profile First Bank delegation, the Deputy General Manager, Youssouf BOUBA, took part on Tuesday 21 February 2023 in Douala, in the conference to kick off the communication campaign concerning innovations to the electronic payment platform. Organised by the GUCE (One-Stop Shop for Foreign Trade operations), the event brought together stakeholders of the E-GUCE platform which, until now, was used only for paperless administrative and technical procedures related to import and export operations in Cameroon. The E-GUCE platform has now been extended to digital payment methods and instruments, and will offer all its ecosystem users the possibility of making international payments by bank transfer, bank card or Wallet (electronic wallet). Afriland First Bank is a key component in this ecosystem. Its role as a settlement bank allows all platform users to make fully secured international payments.
