Holder of a DEA in Applied Mathmatics and Economics from the Université Dauphine Paris 9 in 1995 and a Diploma in Engineering, option Statistics and Economics from Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique in Paris.

Marlyn Mouliom-Roosalem worked as a statistician economist at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris,  and as a Risk Management Officer at Banque de France exchange market room. Upon her return to the Central African Republic, she worked as the General Manager of the Central Africa Stock Exchange from 2004 to 2006, Economic and Financial Adviser of the Head of State in 2008 and 2010, Minister of Trade and Industry from 2011 to 2012 and General Manager of the Road Maintenance Fund from January to April 2013.
